The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) provides short-term financial relief to workers who need to have their income supplemented.
Every worker in South Africa who works for longer than 24 hours per month is required by law to make contributions to the UIF. The employer and employee will both contribute 1% of the particular employee's gross monthly remuneration.

Step 1: Click HERE to start the process
Step 2: Click “REGISTER” in the top right hand corner.
Step 3: Read and accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking on ‘Yes’ and then click on ‘Continue’
Step 4. Fill in all the required information and click on ‘REGISTER’.
Step 5. Wait to receive your activation message via the preferred method of contact that you chose.
Step 6. Click on the link sent to you in the message to activate your account.
Once you register for uFiling, you can access most of the UIF and Department of Employment and Labour services online. This includes registering new employees, submitting claims, viewing progress on claims, submitting declarations, and automatically calculating the UIF contributions associated with your monthly return.
