The Unemployment Insurance Fund provides temporary relief for people who have become unemployed or have to take off from work for a number of reasons. 
The UIF offers benefits for unemployment, maternity leave, parental leave, adoption leave, illness and to dependents of a deceased UIF contributor.

The Ufiling website allows employees to apply for UIF benefits, submit a request for UIF benefits, view claims history, submit a notice of appeal and view their "Employee Declaration Status".
