The South African Post Office (SAPO) has released the days on which Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant recipients can collect their money. The grant money that recipients of the SRD grant will receive is R350.
Here are the payment days for the month of December 2021
It is important to note the last three digits of your ID number determines the days on which you can collect your grant.
6 December - 080 & 085
7 December - 081 & 086
8 December - 082 & 087
9 December - 083 & 088
10 December - 084 & 089
13 December - 080 & 085
14 December - 081 & 086
15 December - 082 & 087
17 December - 083 & 088
20 December - 084 & 089
21 December - 080 & 085
22 December - 081 & 086
23 December - 082 & 087

SAPO has called on grant recipients to wait for an SMS informing them that their money is available for collection. This will prevent SRD grant recipients from going to the post office only to be turned away.
The Post Office does not distribute SRD grants when other social grants are being distributed. The grants include the disability grant, older persons grant and the child support grant. These grants are distributed at the beginning of the month.
