The Department of Basic Education (DBE) has revealed when candidates who participated in the 2022 May/June Grade 12 examinations will receive their results.
They announced that collection dates will vary depending on the province a candidate lives in. The statement of results can be collected at the exam centre or schools where the candidate wrote their examinations.
Individuals who either wrote the National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams or the Senior Certificate (SC) exams.
The candidates who participated in the NSC exams wrote the NSC exams in 2021 and previous years but did not obtain the full requirements to obtain their matric qualification. SC candidates are adult candidates that are older than 21 and have completed a minimum of Grade 9 or an ABET level 4 qualification.

Individuals who participated in NSC examinations in June can rewrite their exams in November 2022. This registration period will open on 3 August 2022 and will close two weeks later on 16 August 2022.
Those who participated in the SC examinations in June can also register to rewrite their examinations. However, this rewrite will only take place in June 2022. The registration period for the June 2023 SC examinations will open in October 2022.
