Clients will only need to follow a four-step application that will be done online. Viviers said the application process is quick and clients will not be required to have documents when they fill out the online application as most questions will be multiple choice and straightforward.
Government employees applying for a new home loan could stand a chance of getting a discounted interest rate.
"To qualify, you must use the Government Employee Housing Scheme (GEHS) stop order to SA Home Loans." said Capitec. The Capitec home loan is also open to clients who are switching from other loan providers.
"By moving your bond, you could pay a lower interest rate and monthly instalment. This will free up some money in your monthly budget." said Capitec.
Applications can be tracked on the Capitec online portal which offers clients descriptions of what each step means and what is required of them.
