It's time for the matriculants to receive their final examination results. Here are the different ways you can access your exam results.


The May/June matric examination period came to an end in June with the matric rewrite results being released this week. Now, those who were unsatisfied with their results can apply for a chance to improve.


The wait is finally over for matric candidates who participated in the 2023 May/June matric examinations and chose to rewrite subjects. The Education Department has officially revealed when exam results will be released.


The South African education system consists of both government schools and independent schools. For years many have questioned whether completing matric through the independent curriculum is "better" than completing matric through the public schooling system.

Department of Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga, finally took to the podium on Thursday evening to announce the 2022 matric results and the great performance by the learners.


The release of matric results is a high stakes time for many students and parents who have invested in the idea that a successful future is dependent on excellent matric results. Getting these final school marks in black and white can spiral some young South Africans into despair and crisis, especially if their matric results fall short of what they have hoped for.


The matric class of 2022 is expecting to receive final examination results in January 2023. However, not every learner will have achieved their desired results.


Matriculants around the country have received their National Senior Certificate (NSC) results after the 2021 Matric exam season.


Following the release of the Matric results of 2021, countless young people will be faced with the need or desire to adjust their study plans for this year because they did not perform as expected, while many others will be faced with the happy news that their options have increased as a result of better-than-expected results - whether this be the eligibility to enrol for higher education, or enrol for a different qualification.


In two weeks time, the Grade 12 class of 2021 will receive their final examination results. However, there is a lot of work that has to be done before matriculants can get their results.


The Gauteng province had the largest number of candidates writing this year, with a provincial increase of 17.55%. The Gauteng education department has created an innovative and yet convenient way for learners to access their NSC 2021 results.
