The company are running a 36 month Boilermaking Engineering Learnership Programme starting in October which will lead to artisanship.

  • PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
  • To provide an opportunity for successful candidates to participate in an Boilermaking engineering learnership programme to attain artisanship by means of trade testing.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Completed N2 or NCV4 certificate in Boilermaking.
  • Subjects at N2 level: Mathematics, Engineering Science, Structural Steel drawing, Engineering Drawing.
  • Must have a basic understanding of the applicable trade.
  • Medically fit for both plants (BMR and PMR)
  • TRAINING PROGRAMME / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Thirty-six (36) months learnership with a set training programme under the auspices of the Mining Qualification Authority (SETA).
  • The learnership will also provide the incumbent with a sound understanding on how to safely fabricate, maintain and repair structural steel systems and equipment within a plant.
