The Central Application Clearing House (CACH) is now accepting applications for university and college placements in 2025. Prospective students are urged to apply immediately to increase their chances of securing a spot.

2025 CACH Application Period

The 2025 CACH application period is open from 20 January to 31 March  2025, providing students with a 70-day application period. However, early application is strongly encouraged.

How CACH Works

CACH serves as a central platform connecting students with educational institutions. It simplifies the application process and provides access to a wide range of study opportunities.

Institutions and Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) utilise the CACH database to identify suitable candidates. Once a student accepts an offer on the CACH system, the institution will directly contact them.

Benefits of Using CACH

  • Increased Visibility: Students gain greater visibility to institutions, even if they missed initial application deadlines or are seeking alternative options.
  • Simplified Application: No further applications are required after signing up on the CACH system.

How to Sign Up

  1. Visit the CACH Website: Go to the official CACH website.
  2. Locate the Sign-Up Section: Find the sign-up section on the homepage.
  3. Complete the Registration Form: Fill out the registration form accurately with personal and academic information.

Important Note: No supporting documents are required as CACH receives matric results directly from the Department of Basic Education.
