Individuals in South Africa facing financial hardship can now apply for the SRD grant for March 2025.
To qualify, applicants must be South African citizens, residents, or special permit holders and must not receive other government support like UIF benefits or NSFAS bursaries. Their bank accounts must have a balance below R624.
Sassa conducts thorough background checks to verify applicants' identities, citizenship, and income. Once approved, payments are made at the end of the month.
