Sassa SRD Grant Appeal Process
Step 1: Visit the Sassa Appeals Website.
Step 2: Enter your ID number and cell phone number.
Step 3: Click "Track Appeal."
Appeals can take up to three months to be finalized and are handled by the Independent Tribunal for Social Assistance Appeals (ITSAA).
The role of the ITSAA is to review Sassa's decision and check if their decision to reject your R370 grant application was correct. They can decide to uphold, modify, or overturn Sassa's decision.
The ITSAA's decision is final; however, you can challenge it in the High Court within 180 days.
