Sassa Grant Payment Dates for July 2024
- Older Persons Grant: Tuesday, 2 July 2024
- Disability Grant: Wednesday, 3 July 2024
- Child Support Grant: Thursday, 4 July 2024
Payment dates for the SRD grant will be announced later, falling within the last week of July and excluding weekends and public holidays.

Upcoming Sassa Grant Increases
Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana previously announced two grant increases for 2024. The first increase occurred in April, and another is scheduled for October 1st. In October, all grants except the SRD Grant, Foster Care Grant, and Child Support Grant will see a further R10 increase.
Sassa Grant Payment Options
Sassa beneficiaries have two options for receiving their grants:
The first is Direct Deposit. Grants can be deposited directly into a beneficiary's bank account. The second option is Cash Payout where Grants can be collected at various payout points, including ATMs and retail stores like Pick n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite, and Boxer.
