Are you a matric student looking to improve your marks? The 2025 May/June matric rewrites are now open for registration. Whether you're an NSC or SC candidate, this is your chance to achieve the grades you deserve.
Registrations for the May/June matric exam period opened on 1 October 2024 and will close on 7 February 2025.
Candidates can use this exam session to either improve their results or complete any outstanding results. The deadline to apply for the 2025 exams is 7 February 2025, so make sure you register before time runs out!
Registration Process
Both NSC and SC candidates can register for the May/June exams. However, Senior Certificate candidates can only rewrite during this period.
Senior Certificate Candidates can do online registration and National Senior Certificate candidates can visit their nearest district office to register for Matric rewrites.
2024 Final Matric Exams
The 2024 NSC exams will begin on 21 October and continue through late November. A total of 732,448 full-time candidates and 136,195 part-time candidates are registered for these exams.
