Additionally, Sassa is responsible for paying out the R370 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant.
Sassa Grant Payment Dates for June 2025
Sassa has scheduled the following dates for permanent grant payments in June 2025:
- Older Persons Grants: 3 June 2025
- Disability Grants: 4 June 2025
- Children’s Grants: 5 June 2025
SRD grant payments are expected to take place during the last week of June 2025.
Sassa Grant Collection Points
Beneficiaries can receive their grants through direct bank deposits, which offer convenience and added security. Alternatively, they can collect their payments at designated pay points.
Approved collection points include ATMs and participating retail stores such as Pick n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite, and Boxer.
Sassa has reminded beneficiaries that there is no need to withdraw their funds immediately on the payment date, as the money will remain available in their accounts until accessed.
