The University of South Africa (Unisa) is preparing for its upcoming January/February 2025 examinations. The university has extended its well wishes to all enrolled students and is providing them with resources to ensure their success.

Unisa, a leading provider of open distance e-learning (ODeL) education, offers students the flexibility to study from home and take exams online. This is a significant benefit for students who may not be able to attend traditional in-person exams.

To ensure students are fully prepared, Unisa will be hosting a series of student webinars on exam preparation and using the online proctoring tools. These tools are mandatory for all students and require a webcam-enabled device (smartphone, laptop, or desktop).

Students are encouraged to begin reviewing course materials and familiarizing themselves with exam formats well in advance of their exams. They should also thoroughly understand Unisa's examination rules and regulations to avoid any complications.

Unisa reminds students that failure to use the designated proctoring tools will result in withheld exam results. Students impacted by this will need to re-register for the affected modules.

For students who cannot locate their exam timetables online, Unisa advises contacting the Examination Office. Any questions or concerns regarding the examinations can be directed to the Examination Administration Division at [email protected].
