Nsfas does not only provide bursaries to students who attend a public South African university, but also covers deserving students attending Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges.
A Nsfas bursary will cover your tuition cost, living costs, textbook costs and provide students with a travel and meal allowance.
While Nsfas bursary applications for university students are closed, students attending TVET colleges may still be able to apply. Applications for funding for TVET college students in Trimester 2 will open on 10 August 2022 and will close on 19 August 2022.
