    Michelle Branco

Eduloan is proud to announce the appointment of Michelle Branco as Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer (CCMO), with effect from May 3 2011.

South Africa requires outstanding professionals in the corporate world, government and other organisations. Only world-class executives can maintain and increase the country’s competitiveness in relation to leading emerging and first-world economies. As Eduloan strives to improve people’s lives through financial access to education, we also continue to search for the best available people for inclusion in the Eduloan executive team.

Michelle was previously Executive Head of Marketing at Vodacom Business, Vodacom South Africa. She spearheaded the company’s business marketing activities. She has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector and has held various positions in product management, sales and marketing.

Michelle (39) holds a BA LLB degree from Wits University, has completed a Management Advancement Programme (MAP) at Wits Business School and a Mini Telecoms MBA from Telecoms Academy in London (United Kingdom). She has also written various articles for IT and business publications, covering topics relevant to the ICT industry.

“I am humbled to be given this opportunity to help realise the dreams of those South Africans that want to study further and contribute to our country by building an educated society,” says Michelle.

“We look forward to a long-lasting working relationship with Michelle, and her passion for educating South Africans will enhance Eduloan’s position as a force for upliftment,” says Totsie Memela-Khambula, CEO of Eduloan.
