Talent Managment
Local talent management company recognised internationally
Tue, 28 Apr 2009 13:33
Talent Management organisation, Kelly, has again received international recognition for their outstanding performance within the Contact Centre industry.
Kelly is a presenting finalist at the 2009 Contact Centre World Awards in two categories: Best Recruitment Campaign and Best Community Spirit.
The South African company will be competing against the very best at the 4th Annual Contact Centre Worlds Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Awards, the same Awards that have be likened to the Olympics of the Contact Centre Industry. The winners will be announced in June 2009.
Kelly is no newcomer on the worlds stage. Last year they were awarded Gold for Best Community Spirit at the Contact Centre World Awards, while at the inaugural 2008 American Staffing Association (ASA) Awards, Kelly was the first international company to scoop the International Care Award.
All these awards are highly contested among both the worlds leading service providers and Contact Centres alike, so to be acknowledged by these associations is a tremendous honour and privilege, says Gayleen Baxter, Kelly chief operating officer.
We at Kelly are driven by our commitment to unlock the power of people for greater productivity, customer service and sustainability, and this international recognition serves to further boost our commitment to our employees and our communities.
"The awards also provide tangible evidence that we incorporate international best practice in all ventures, and in some cases, even set the benchmark.
Locally, Kelly has also been making its presence felt. Last year alone, Kelly was awarded the prominent Professional Management Review (PMR) Gold Arrow Award for overall first place in three categories, as well as the Best HR Service Provider (Gauteng and nationally) and Best Non-Technical Innovation (Gauteng) in the BPeSA National Awards.
BPeSA is the national coordinating body for South Africas business process outsourcing and offshoring industry.
We are not going to rest on our laurels though, and will continue to come up with new and exciting initiatives - like our fully-equipped training and recruitment branch in Soweto to foster a better standard of living for all South Africans, Baxter concludes.
