Manpower South Africa (Pty) Ltd, local subsidiary of the global recruitment and staffing giant Manpower Incorporated, is extending its services offering to the highly specialised skills and professional recruitment segment by launching Manpower Professional.

The introduction of Manpower Professional is a key element in the Manpower strategic growth strategy to grow market share in higher margin segments. The new division will focus on the R500k to R1.2m per annum package ranges and is expected to generate between 10-20% of Manpower SA’s gross profit by 2010.

“We feel now is the right time to launch Manpower Professional. South Africa is currently experiencing significant specialised skills shortages in the Finance, Engineering and IT sectors. During the past year, we have refined and perfected our business model that will offer a unique value proposition to clients looking for specialised, professional staff, and to candidates expecting a different level of interaction with recruitment companies.” says Jan Coetzee, Manpower SA Managing Director.

“Through our level of expertise and specialisation, coupled with our global network, Manpower Professional will be able to respond effectively to client and candidate expectations which become more sophisticated with the level of position. Candidates want to interact with recruiting consultants who understand their specialised occupation and are capable of providing career advice. Clients expect their recruitment partner to have access to, and be skilled at recruiting and assessing this higher level, specialist candidates, and to offer a more customised talent acquisition solution” says Shireen Goldschmidt, General Manager of Manpower Professional.

Manpower Professional will operate as an independent division within Manpower South Africa, with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg. In its first year of operation, it will focus mainly on the Finance, Engineering and IT sectors.

Since their inception in 1999, Manpower South Africa has built the reputation as an expert in the South African world of work. Their commitment to innovation, quality, client service and flexibility is unparalleled in the South African market.
