    Time for proactive selection

Issues such as skills shortage and changing requirements, the need for experienced candidates, job security and increasing costs-to-company mean that it is getting harder for local job seekers to secure employment.

This is the view of human resource experts at Accsys, a national supplier of management solutions across HR, payroll administration, time & attendance and access control.

People management and development is a foundation principle upon which the company’s service portfolio is based. In order to bolster the development and strategic application of skills within these markets, Accsys also offers eLearning, internship and training services.

A key component of the Accsys offering and a critical element of its brand is the company’s recruitment division called Accsys PeoplePlace.

Accsys PeoplePlace operates a full-time recruitment service that exclusively targets the human resources, payroll and time & attendance markets.

The division serves as an intermediary between job seekers and companies that are seeking to recruit and fill available positions.

Teryl Schroenn, CEO at Accsys, believes that whilst the recruitment space is increasing in competition, Accsys PeoplePlace is able to hold its own and capture market share due to a number of differential qualities.

“We aim for a turnaround time of twenty four hours, which is a very quick and definite period of time. This means people know exactly what is happening and why, so, if successful, a candidate can be placed as soon as possible and all parties will benefit. On the other hand, in the event that a candidate is not successful, there is sufficient time to regroup if necessary and pursue alternatives. ” says Schroenn.

The view taken by Accsys management is that candidates have to meet market requirements and ‘stand out’ for the right reasons. The company has been in operation within these key industries for 30 years and is therefore considered a specialist service provider run by a highly experienced team of experts that know industry requirements.

Candidates engaging with Accsys PeoplePlace have to undergo thorough interviewing and test processes, as well as comprehensive reference checking.

“We are in a position to offer candidates comprehensive support through training and communication about updates that will impact and affect their quest to secure employment,” adds Schroenn.
