Towards the end of the first quarter (2011), Communicate Personnel identified a prime opportunity to carve a new niche into its already successful repertoire of talent acquisition operations.

With more and more people discovering the Western Cape lifestyle, Communicate Personnel, on various request from clients; confirmed the need for establishing a finance niche. Says Laura Hutchinson, Communicate Personnel Managing Director Western Cape, “We needed to expand our national footprint with the increase in re-location placements, as well as local growth within the Western Cape business sector.

Gauteng is considered an industry leader in the Finance niche, when it comes to specialist recruitment, so it was only a natural progression that Cape Town would follow suit - drawing from internal brand experience.”

The Finance niche was launched against a backdrop of 30 years of national recruitment expertise, and the availability of a pool of established and conducive resources.

Clients currently being serviced by the inaugural Finance niche include multi nationals, SMEs and small enterprises, and stretches across vast sectors of the labour market including retail, manufacturing, FMCG, information technology, financial services and retail banking.

“Since establishing this new addition to our service offering, a team of dedicated specialist consultants have actively immersed themselves into the local market. The branch strives to place general and specialist finance professionals, from entry to executive level.

The database of quality, screened candidates is well stocked, though the focus remains on meeting Cape Town’s top financial talent by interviewing select, highly qualified and suitably experienced candidates,” concludes Hutchinson.
