    Seminar on work permits, tax and expatriate management

    Global Migration SA in conjunction with TaxConsulting is holding a one day seminar in October in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town.

    Leon Isaacson, CEO of Global Migration SA and Registered Immigration Practitioner will be speaking about South African Work Permits, skills shortages and HR Strategies.

    Jerry Botha, Lead Partner of TaxConsulting, will address the topics of tax and expatriate planning and compliance for international and local companies.

    Dr Marius van Aswegen is a Registered Industrial Psychologist specialising in the field of expatriate emotional health and management and will be discussing expatriate management.

    Dr Laurentia Truter is an admitted Advocate and specialises in employment law, labour relations, and employment equity and will be speaking about labour issues.

    Representatives from ABSA Bank will discuss the topic of opening South African bank accounts for expatriates.

    The one day seminars will take place in Johannesburg on Thursday 23 October 2008, in Durban on Friday 24 October 2008 and in Cape Town on Tuesday October 2008. Venues are to be confirmed.

    The cost of the seminar is R 950 + VAT which includes the seminar session, notes, refreshments and lunch and a networking session.
