The W&RSeta has launched a project to ensure FET College learners gain valuable work experience before finishing their formal studies in the wholesale and retail sector. Western Cape MEC Alan Winde emphasised that without work, skills mean nothing and that unless there was economic growth, poverty would remain.Seta supports entertainment masterclass

The Entertainment Master Class is an industry initiative to upskill the film industry, and the Services Seta helped to bring the event to South Africa. "We may let one or other academic in, but the basic idea is that the industry knows what it needs and can educate its own talent in the search for its own new ideas," says Christoph Fet the EMC director.

All of the delegates who started the 4-month-long course completed it and nearly achieved the certificate with distinction.
