The purpose-built ETC Conference Centre, has hosted a range of high-profile functions, including business and government banquets, as well as international conferences and exhibitions.

ETC Conference Centre, opened in 1986 and has, over the years, gained an excellent reputation as one of the premier conference venues in the region.

The venue was host to the once-in-a-lifetime viewing of the World Cup solid gold trophy in May this year.

Thousands of soccer fans, including delegates from the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, provincial government, the Local FIFA Organising Committee, local sporting organisation, and city ambassadors from Nelson Mandela Bay flocked to ETC for the viewing.

ETC Conference Centre can accommodate 300 delegates banqueting style, 500 delegates cinema style and 250 delegates schoolroom style.

The Centre is known for its impressive entrance, which leads into an expansive foyer, ideal for pre-conference gatherings, exhibitions, product displays, cocktail functions and registration facilities.

Other facilities include venues for smaller groups, a terrace and gazebo with facilities for braai catering.

Other special features of the ETC Conference Centre include facilities for disabled delegates and offers dιcor services (draping, centrepieces, and floral arrangements).

The venue is fully air-conditioned with moveable seating and AV equipment.

In short, ETC Conference Centre facilities are extremely flexible and many combinations can be arranged to suit a client’s need.

The ample parking facilities are monitored by trained personnel, thereby providing for a very secure parking environment.

Special features of the ETC Conference Centre include the comprehensive audio visual facilities in various formats which can be projected onto a large 3x2.8m screen.

Three audio visual rooms with rear projection facilities are also available as well as a projection/video control room, four simultaneous translation booths, public address systems, flexible spot lighting facility and sophisticated video recording facility.

ETC Conference Centre also offers in-house catering and full liquor license, photocopying and facsimile services, facilities for disabled delegates, fully air conditioned throughout, flexirail systems and moveable seating as well as office space available in the centre.

Our conference support services offer access to car hire facilities, all hotel and airline reservations, travel arrangements to and from hotels and conference centre.

All accommodation and local sightseeing tours are arranged as well as photographers, floral displays, secretarial services and a host of other services you may require.
