Train the Trainer project for the DRC

COOL IDEAS in association with Cowan International recently completed the training of a number of Facilitators from a large mining company in the DRC.

The training was run in French, this being the mother tongue of these learners from the Rpublique Dmocratique du Congo. COOL IDEAS can run its training programmes in French.

It was an interesting and challenging project which went very well, due mainly to the tremendous willingness and eagerness of the learners and their thirst for growth and knowledge.

All the learners were found competent and this will certainly be most valuable, not only for themselves, but also for their company and the people they will be called upon to develop, now that they are certified facilitators.

It was a tremendous pleasure and privilege for COOL IDEAS to have been involved in developing these learners from the DRC.

COOL IDEAS ran a Management Development Programme in Gauteng and Western Cape for a number of hearing-impaired learners from DEAFSA, in conjunction with the ETDP SETA.

The project was aimed at giving basic Business and Management skills to deaf learners so as to enhance their employment opportunities and/or running their own businesses.

COOL IDEAS has been contracted by the SERVICES SETA to run Assessor and Moderator training for members of the SSETA who have a valid Skills Levy number.

There is a strict pre-screening process and COOL IDEAS has already forwarded the necessary documents to all those who have applied for this free training. (NB: If you have received the pre-screening forms but have not returned them yet, please do so urgently, while this opportunity is still available).

COOL IDEAS ran Assessor training for 20 learners from the Carphone Warehouse Group, in Cape Town.

COOL IDEAS ran Assessor training for 15 Commissioners from the CCMA, in the CCMA training facilities in Johannseburg. The Commissioners came in from different parts of the country.

COOL IDEAS ran Assessor training for a group of 18 learners from Productivity SA.

COOL IDEAS is in the process of developing learner material and learner guides for a number training interventions for First National Bank.

COOL IDEAS are the specialists in developing and up-skilling trainers and ETD practitioners!

COOL IDEAS runs the following public training courses: Assessor training, Moderator training and the Higher Certificate in OD ETD Practices (which is a qualification on NQF Level 5, 125 Credits)!

NB: The 8 workshops that make up the Full OD ETD qualification is also offered as individual workshops!

Our public courses are held at a centrally situated training venue.

COOL IDEAS only uses experienced facilitators, and the training courses are run in an interactive, relaxed and stimulating learning environment!

COOL IDEAS can also run any of its courses for the public or as in-house courses, in all major centres, provided there is a minimum number of 6 learners on a programme.
