Assessor Training Programme

The Assessor course that COOL IDEAS offers is a 3-day course, which has been integrated and aligned to 2 of the National Assessment Unit Standards (ID 115753: Conduct Outcomes Based Assessments, NQF Level 5, 15 Credits and ID 115755: Develop & Design Outcomes Based Assessments, NQF Level 6, 10 Credits). This training programme, will equip you with the skills to be able to develop, design and conduct fair, reliable and valid assessments!

COOL IDEAS runs Assessor training as a public course, on a monthly basis or as an in-house course, provided there is a minimum of 5 learners.
The next public course will run on the 12-14 February 2008!

Please note that COOL IDEAS also runs this training in house, provided that there are 5 learners or more. Dates for in-house training are scheduled upon consultation with the client. The two main advantages of an in-house programme are: the clients choose dates that suit them and their learners / the training is customized as much as possible to the client’s needs or industry.

The cost of this programme is R3, 520.00 per learner (excl. VAT @ 14%) and includes the 3 phases of the programme, namely: the 3-day training, the follow-up/POE building workshop (run 3 weeks after the training) and the process of assessment, moderation, verification endorsements and certification!

COOL IDEAS is a fully accredited training provider with the ETDP SETA and is able to offer a host of other training programmes and interventions, such as: Full Certificate in OD-ETD Practices, Moderator training, Coach Learners training, Coaching & Mentoring training, Management Development Programme (MDP), Individual and Team Effectiveness training, Learnership Management programme, Development of quality training materials and learner guides, Development of Assessment guides and Implementation tools, Development of Quality Assurance Systems, Recognition of Prior Learning against National Unit Standards (RPL), Compilation and Submission of Workplace Skills Plans and Training reports, Accreditation and Consultation Services for Training Providers, and many more…!
