Find out what your employees are capable of without disruption or cost

Call centre and middle management training company, Siyandza Skills Development has launched a Free Skills Assessment service for medium to large call centres.

Available immediately, the service arms organisations with an accurate snapshot of the capabilities and competencies of its most important resource: its employees.

“Every organisation would like to have an independent, accurate audit of the skills levels within it, but many are wary of the cost and disruption usually associated with doing so,” explains Jeff Austin, Managing Director of Siyandza Skills Development.

“That’s why our Free Skills Assessment eliminates these two concerns.”

Not only is the assessment provided free of charge and obligation, it is also non-disruptive. “The Free Skills Assessment is based on random, statistically representative, samples of the organisation or department,” explains Austin.

“That’s how we are able to provide an accurate picture of current skills, without evaluating every single individual and disrupting the organisation’s operations.”

Nonetheless, Austin is quick to point out that — should a company recruit Siyandza Skills Development to help solve any identified skills deficiencies — individual evaluations are likely to be required.

The Free Skills Assessment can be tailored to suit an organisation’s specific environment. It can be conducted as an open-ended discovery of skills tracked against international benchmarks or aligned with specific company criteria and core competencies.

“We take a deliberately flexible approach to ensure the findings are as useful as possible to the host organisation,” Austin confirms.

Once the sample size has been set, the company can either identify a specific group, such as team leaders or an individual department, to be assessed or request that a random sample be evaluated.

“Depending on the required outputs of the assessment, we will then conduct an appropriate combination of both formative (written tests and exercises) and summative (evidence and observation-based) assessments,” clarifies Austin.

The findings of the skills assessment are then presented to the relevant stakeholders. Any skills deficiencies identified during the process are highlighted, together with suggested training interventions that should be undertaken to close these gaps.

“It’s a wonderful, risk-free way of discovering your organisation’s skills baseline,” concludes Austin.

Organisations interested in finding out more about the Free Skills Assessment can either fill in the short form or contact Siyandza Skills Development directly on +27 (0)11 656 1443.
