    CareerJunction reveals 2012 salaries for financial sector

    CareerJunction, South Africa's online recruitment solution has released the first set of industry related salary figures for 2012 based on the financial sector.

    The 2012 salary review was done for the top 10 industry sectors and performed by South African labour market indicator, the CareerJunction Index (CJI).

    Data was collected from the CareerJunction website, currently serving over 800 subscribing advertisers who advertise over 25,000 job advertisements monthly. Salary figures are based on the latest salary offerings of 2011.

    Regional Salary Differences

    The salary scale below demonstrates the regional percentage difference in salary offerings within the financial sector. Percentages can be used to calculate location specific salaries across various occupations (as outlined above).

    Results indicate that Gauteng pays the best, followed by the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.
