    Labour brokers have little to cheer

    Two days of hearings were held in parliament on the subject of labour broking and the ANC proposals to ban the practice. The labour brokers present received a frosty reception from the ANC members who dominate the committee, and there was no indication that their calls for regulation of the industry rather than an outright ban, were likely to be accepted.
