Some learners will no be satisfied with the results they achieved during the November 2023 IEB matric exams. These learners can register for the IEB matric supplementary exams.

Learners who were enrolled at Independent school will receive their matric results on Thursday. The IEB have commended learners for achieving an excellent pass rate.

Preparation is underway around the country in anticipation of the final matric exams which is just a few months away. The Independent Examination Board has released their matric exam timetable to aid learners in their preparation for the upcoming final matric exams.

IEB learners who want their matric exams to be re-marked have just a few days left to register. The registration deadline for IEB supplementary matric exams re-marks is just days away.

While the Independent Examinations Bureau matric class of 2022 achieved a pass rate of above 98%, unsuccessful learners have an opportunity to rewrite their exams. These learners are encouraged to register before the closing date this month.

In 12 days time, matriculants around South Africa will begin their final school exams. However, there are growing concerns that the performance of the class of 2022 will be negatively impacted by loadshedding.

In South Africa, learners following the CAPS curriculum achieve their Matric qualifications (National Senior Certificate - NSC) either through writing the assessments of the Department of Basic Education (DBE) or the Independent Examinations Board (IEB).  However, this is not to say that DBE and NSC learners just write different final examination papers.  There’s a lot more to it than that.

The Independent Examinations Board (IEB) has released its National Senior Certificate Certificate(NSC) Examination timetable for 2021. IEB schools will also not write exams on 1 November 2021, due to the local government elections.
