The Unizulu ITS system is a web‐based, menu‐driven application designed to let authorized users (such as administrative or academic staff) manage student and institutional records directly. Here’s a concise overview of how to use it:
1. Logging In
- Access via Browser: Open a supported browser (Internet Explorer is recommended) and navigate to your institution’s designated ITS system URL or intranet link.
- Enter Credentials: Input your user ID and password (or PIN) as provided by your institution. Once validated, you’ll be brought to the ITS Entry Screen.
2. Navigating the Entry Screen
- Header: Displays the institution’s logo, your user name, and quick-access buttons (such as “Home – Back Office,” “Logout,” “More,” and “Help”).
- Main Menu Bar: Here you’ll see:
- Favourites: A customizable list of frequently used functions.
- Menu: A searchable tree structure that lets you browse through available options by menu code or name.
