Our SDF Learning Programme is aimed at Skills Development Facilitators (SDFs), ETD-Practitioners, Training Managers and others involved in skills development-related activities.
DURATION
4 Days + 1 Follow-up day (usually four weeks after the learning programme).
APPLICABLE UNIT STANDARD(S)
• Develop an organisational training and development plan (Unit standard 15217, NQF 5, 6 credits).
• Conduct an analysis to determine outcomes of learning for skills development and other purposes (Unit standard 15218, NQF 6, 4 credits).
• Provide information and advice regarding skills development and related issues (Unit standard 15221, NQF 5, 4 credits).
• Promote a learning culture in an organisation (Unit standard 252041, NQF 5, 5 credits).
• Conduct skills development administration in an organisation (Unit standard 15227, NQF 4, 4 credits).
• Advise on the establishment and implementation of a quality management system for skills development practices in an organisation (Unit standard 15228, NQF 5, 10 credits). (Optional)
• Coordinate planned skill development interventions in an organisation (Unit standard 15232, NQF 5, 6 credits).
BENEFITS OF ATTENDING THE LEARNING PROGRAMME
• A briefing letter prior to the learning programme.
• Training from an experienced Facilitator.
• A learner-CD (which contains templates required to complete summative assessment activities (and compile POEs)).
• Clear guidelines in terms of summative assessment activities.
• A Follow-up day during which the Facilitator provides additional support to learners to complete summative assessment activities (and finalise POEs).
• We return i.e. post/ deliver POEs to learners after verification by the ETDP SETA (ETDQA) .

Learning programme costs include the following:

• Learning material. (1 x Learner Manual, 1 x pen, 1 x learner-CD, 1 x POE-file and 1 x set of POE-dividers per learner)
• Ongoing learner support after the distance learning programme.
• (If applicable) A Learner support day.
• Lunch and refreshments during learning programme and Follow-up day.
• Three assessment attempts.
• Assessment and moderation.
• Certification.
• Postage/ delivery of POE, Statement of results and certificate of competence.
