-Learners required to be on a basic NQF level3, Numeric and Literacy level

| Target Group: |
This module provides you, the learner, with the underpinning knowledge of the concepts and terminology related to skills development, which is a fundamental requirement for the SDF. It provides you with information of the relevant legislation that you would require as an SDF. This information will assist you to advise an organisation concerning the alignment of skills development. |

- Certificate of Attendance – on completion of the 5 day course.

| Assessment Strategy: |
Learners are required to apply skills and knowledge obtained on the course in the workplace. As learners apply these skills, they produce evidence, which needs to be compiled into a portfolio of evidence (POE). This POE is submitted to Trainyoucan for assessment.Learners will receive a workbook and portfolio guide, which will guide them thorough the process. Any additional resources required will be provided by Trainyoucan to the learner, free of charge. |

Workplace Experience The programme will ensure the application of knowledge in skills in the workplace. The workplace experience will include the following:
· provide information related to skills development, including relevant legislation, learning and assessment
· advise an organisation concerning the alignment of skills development practices to the information provided; and
· advise on the promotion of skills development.
