| Entry Level Requirements : |
You need the following basic computer and internet tools to subscribe to this learning program.
Participants are expected to have at least:
- basic keyboarding competence
- an elementary knowledge of their computer operating system
- basic knowledge of software and tools such as a
- word processor
- e-mail
- Internet browser
- search engine
-Basic Numeracy and Literacy level equal to NQF 2 (South Africa Standard 8 / Grade 10).
-Fluent in reading, writing and understanding English.
-Learners are already competent in the learning area in which they will provide training.
-Learners must be competent as an assessors |
| Purpose : |
Essential Skills for Moderators - Programme 1provides learners with the essential knowledge and understanding of the SAQA requirements for moderation practices and role of the moderator in an outcomes based education environment described by NQF unit standard – ID115759. Learners have an opportunity to develop an understanding of all the concepts and processes with the support of eLearning coaches, within a timeframe that suit their needs. The programme has built in activities to check understanding and progress. Learners will receive a certificate of achievement on successful completion. |

- Web Browser -- Firefox 3.0 is highly recommended and preferred for all eLearningSkills Training participants , however, Opera 9.0, Google Chrome, Safari or Internet Explorer 9.0 or higher versions (these are free down-loadable programs) are some other alternatives. We cannot guarantee that all course features will function in all non-Mozilla or Internet Explorer browsers though.
