How you’re assessed
We assess the skills you’ve developed using flexible and practical computer based assessments (CBAs). There’s no set time to take these tests – you can sit them as and when you’re ready, with the agreement of your training provider. You’ll receive immediate results for online testing. Not every assessment is an online test; some learning and assessment areas use other computer-administered methods, including projects, reports or workplace evidence. These types of assessment, and some of the online tests which have extended written questions, are marked by hand with the results available up to and including six weeks later.
How long it takes to qualify?
One of the great things about AAT qualifications is the flexibility of our training. You can study full-time, part-time, from home or online – so how long you take to qualify is up to you.Get qualified in less than three years. There are three levels to the AAT Accounting Qualification, and you can expect to spend around a year on each level.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements in terms of qualifications (matric is therefore not a prerequisite), but learners must have a good level of literacy and numeracy and must be able to complete assessments in English
