PURPOSE OF THE UNIT STANDARD
This unit standard will enable learners to understand and know the competence required to follow a sampling process in a marketing environment.
Range: Marketing Research refers to the systematic and objective identification, collection analysis and dissemination of information for the purpose of improving decision making related to the identification and solution of problems and opportunities in marketing.
The qualifying learner is capable of:
Selecting respondents according to quota requirements.
Selecting respondents according to probability sampling principles.
Conducting a Census.
