3 day intervention

This assessor training is for those who wish to assess learners on their achievement of learning outcomes.

The generic assessor training is compulsory for all educators, Facilitators and corporate trainers.

Those who achieve this unit standard will be able to conduct assessments within their fields of expertise.

They will be able to assess performance against standards and qualifications registered on the NQF

This training places emphasis on the fair, valid, reliable assessment of learners.

Participants will complete assessments during the training to familiarise themselves with the process and method.

Learners will gain an understanding of the tools and instruments related to assessment.

The programme will provide an understanding of the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), National Qualifications Framework (NQF), unit standards, qualifications, learnerships, skills levies, methods of assessment and the differences between the old and new method of assessment.
