There was a noticeable impact on the processes and procedures institutions needed to follow in terms of granting credit in line with the National Credit Act (NCA); particularly in the micro-lending, car, household finance, or in any other industries that lend money to the public.
A number of credit skills training providers have developed services along the lines of preparing formal yearly audits that identify to what extent a business is compliant or non-compliant with the NCA. These steps will also highlight what actions are needed to meet the credit act requirements.
In addition, credit management training may include learning how to compile credit reports on clients, and how to establish a Credit Bureau automating a business’s credit application processes or credit decisions.

Credit skills equip trainees with an understanding of credit in a changing world, alongside the knowledge and capabilities of credit management principles, credit assessment practices and methodologies, credit accounts and collections.
