Ryan Cloete

My name is Ryan Cloete. I'm a rookie journalist based in Cape Town. I'm currently studying towards an Advanced Diploma in Journalism at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

I am very much a work in progress with the goal of being better than I was yesterday. As a journalist, my ultimate goal is to work for a publication that makes a difference in the lives of people.

Working at Portal Publishing has provided me with an opportunity to do this and kick start my hopefully long career in news. I also enjoy reading, having a good laugh with friends and watching sporting events. “No duty is more urgent than that of returning thanks.” – James Allen
