Following the drop out of over 800 markers in Gauteng, Naptosa is concerned about how the rest of the exam marking process will go. 

More than 1000 teachers have quit marking, nationwide. There has been some concern about the Gauteng Department of Education, as the province that has lost the most exam markers. 

Government is in talks to replace Sassa grant beneficiary cards. This comes after Sassa faced a security breach 2 years ago. 

After much uncertainty about when the vaccine will arrive in South Africa, the government has given an update about the roll out strategy.

Many students hoping to be enroled to study at Unisa will have to think again, as the university will be accepting less students in 2021. 

You can now register for the 2021 National Senior Certificate if you are an adult who qualifies to write the matric exam. 

The marking of matric exam papers kicked off on Monday. More than 4 million scripts will be marked before 22 January 2021.
