The people in an organisation make the difference between success and failure. Developing people to have the right skills, knowledge and attitude is key to achieving operational objectives and therefore excellence in training is key to the development of a business.

Training needs to be relevant, engaging, dynamic and contemporary for it to be effective. A trainer must have the skills to deliver effective training and also have the ability to inspire and motivate their learners. The aim of this intensive Facilitation programmes is to give up and coming Facilitators these skills.

Skills Development Facilitator (SDF)

We have an excellent, interactive SDF Course scheduled from 13 - 17 May 2019 at our college in Kempton Park.

 

Academy Training Group’s SDF course will equip learners with the required knowledge and skills to identify training needs,

how to draft a Work Place Skills Plan and Annual Training Reports,

as well as how to implement Quality Management Systems (QMS) in an organization.

 

The responsibility of an SDF Practitioner is great and thus they need to meet a high standard of criteria.

 

Moderator

The purpose of this programme is to equip potential moderators with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to conduct assessments within their fields of expertise in line with the Criteria for the Registration of Moderators. 

This programme has been designed and developed by Aquarius Skills Solutions and is aligned with the Unit Standard, Conduct Moderation of Outcomes based Assessments (115759), NQF Level 6.

COURSE OVERVIEW:

This generic assessor unit standard is for those who assess people for their achievement of learning outcomes in terms of specified criteria using pre-designed assessment instruments. The outcomes and criteria may be defined in a range of documents including but not limited to unit standards, exit level outcomes, assessment standards, curriculum statements and qualifications.

The purpose of this programme is to equip potential moderators and assessors with the necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to design and develop outcomes-based assessment instruments and tools according to the NQF unit standards.

This programme has been designed and developed by Aquarius Skills Solutions and is aligned with the Unit Standard, Design and Develop Outcomes-based Assessments (115755), NQF Level 6.

The role of the assessor is to formally assess the skills and competence of staff within an organisation.  This is done through building a portfolio of evidence that is related to the learners daily work and meeting the requirements of the NQF.

  
An assessor must have the skills to plan, conduct, evaluate, make Judgments and provided feedback.  An Assessor should also have the ability to guide and support their learners through this process.
