National Certificate: Wholesale and Retail operations

Overview:

Wholesale and Retail Operations, addresses skills and competencies for enabling entry-level employment and positions. The qualifying learner will to access opportunities for further development and training in the specialised areas of Wholesale and Retail

National Certificate: Wholesale and Retail distribution

Overview:

The purpose of this Certificate is to equip learners to understand and acquaint themselves with the underlying principles of all of the major areas related to distribution within the Wholesale & Retail sector, thus enabling them to become more effective employees.

The Certificate further aims to provide career paths through various levels and areas of the Wholesale and Retail environment thus promoting the notion of quality lifelong learning.

Further Education & Training Certificate: Municipal finance & Administration

The purpose of the FETC Municipal Finance and Administration Qualification at Level 4 is to provide a structured programme for municipal officials that work with senior management officials so as to provide support to strategic leadership and management needed to transform all spheres of government. The need for well-qualified efficient, client-oriented public officials is therefore identified as a priority in all the three spheres of government.

Etiquette, Ethics and Customer Care

To empower and develop all delegates and encourage their journey of self-mastery enabling them to exhibit Emotional Intelligence in their daily practices and competencies.

This is a practical and informative workshop that requires the delegate to fill in a pre-workshop questionnaire on the Enneagram Self Mastery Tool. A component of this workshop is customised for each individual.

Negotiating for Profits

This workshop is designed to assist the learners with the approach and skills necessary to enter competitive sales or buying orientated negotiations. It gives the learner a structured approach to the theory of negotiation easily enabling them to recognise tactics used against them and assisting them in gaining clarity on their own goals, thereby enabling better outcomes.

A comprehensive approach to negotiation, this workshop can be presented over one days training. This workshop combines well with the presentation skills training workshop to form a two day training session.

Coaching and Mentoring

This workshop is for supervisors and team leaders, the main aim is to assist them with coaching their team to success in a collaborative fashion.

Leaders who are able to coach rather than instruct are able to develop more positive teams and tend to do particularly well when leading Generation Y and in a team’s leadership position.

Aim: To supply the learners with the necessary knowledge and confidence, regarding communication in an emotionally intelligent manner, applying such principles to personal and work life. Content: The principles of emotional intelligence explained; The principles of emotional intelligence in practice; Self-confidence, self-awareness, self-esteem and locus of control. The importance of personal and interpersonal competencies; Techniques for giving and receiving feedback; Using the Johari window

Sexual Harassment

Aim: This half day workshop gives guidelines on how to deal with sexual harassment and gender ethics within the workplace, the causes, consequences to individual and company, the potential resolutions and cures. Sexual Harassment law suits are costly and organisations that have regular awareness training are less likely to be in a position of having to defend their actions and decisions.

Business Writing Skills

*Also available as a 2-day workshop. Aim: To supply the learners with the necessary knowledge and confidence, enabling them to conduct professional and accurate e-mail and business writing support. Enneagram and EI for Leaders

Aim: To empower and develop delegates and enable them to use their knowledge and skills on Emotional Intelligence, practically and effectively. Content: Principles and Theory of Emotional Intelligence explained, relating to leadership, self-management and in relation to the theory of multiple intelligences, including spiritual. Principles of Emotional Intelligence in practice, including attitudes, conflict handling (internal and external) communication, assertiveness, identifying stress and stressful behaviours.

Team Development with the Enneagram

Aim This workshop is designed to be attended by teams or team leaders or both. The Enneagram is a universally recognised self-mastery tool, used for leadership and team development. Using individual and team reports our accredited facilitators are able to assist the delegates with the knowledge of personal and team strengths and weaknesses, behaviours and interactions that can lead to realisation of potential and minimising of weaknesses.
