Make sure you are well fed and rested. “If you are tired there is no point in trying to squeeze something creative out of your head.”
If possible take a nap or tea break to recharge. Sometimes stepping out of your current environment can give you a new perspective and get the creative juices flowing again.
Broaden your influences
Allow yourself to be influenced and impacted by things outside of your immediate sphere of employment or study.
“Creativity is about bridging unexpected gaps.”
Diversifying your interests will help you to grow your creative muscles.
“You will not have creative ideas every minute of every day.”
Don't force creativity or berate yourself for bad ideas, they are a natural part of the creative process.
“Just keep trying to be creative each day and the good ideas will eventually come.”
