EASTC specializes in Boilermaking, Rigging, Pipefitting, Welding, CNC
Programming, Plumbing, and Electrical training.
Ekurhuleni equips students with the essential skills in a workshop
environment over a period of 15 days, or shorter which means that students will
be competent to start working immediately after completing the course. No
formal experience is needed.

After successfully completing the course, students will receive a certificate
which will enable them to enter the trade. Artisans must work in their field of
expertise for 4 years before they can apply to do their trade test at
Olifantsfontein (INDLELA).
The Ekurhuleni Artisans and Skills Training Centre also helps students update
their CV, and send their details to more than 60 labour brokers which can assist
them with job placements.
