The Department of Basic Education has revealed the 2021 Grade 12 national senior certificate (NSC) final exam timetable. The examinations will start on 1 November and end on 7 December 2021.

Last week the IEC announced that the local government elections will take place on 1 November 2021. Spokesperson for the Basic Education Department, Elijah Mhlanga, said the examination would have to be moved due to many schools being used as polling stations.
According to the timetable released today, the English examination will be written on Monday 1 November 2021, the date it was originally scheduled for.
