With Matric finals fast approaching we’re sure you could do with some extra help and guidance, and Monash South Africa (MSA) is here to assist you!
MSA’s Matric Revision Week is taking place from Saturday, July 7, 2018 until Saturday, July 21 2018. These comprehensive revision sessions hosted on campus will help Matric learners hone their knowledge and equip them with additional skills to ace their exams. These sessions are open to all matric learners across Gauteng.
The Matric Revision Week includes specialised personal attention throughout the period and will run for nine days, allowing sufficient time for learners to work through modules and have vital time for Q & A sessions.
There is a once off registration fee of R300.00 which will allow entry into all the revision classes, but advanced booking is required to join in classes. Registration takes places each morning from 07:30 and classes will run from 09:00 – 16:00 each day. One subject will be covered over the course of a day, ensuring that the subjects are worked on thoroughly, learners are not overwhelmed by too much information and go home feeling confident in their work and knowledge gained.
“We are proud to offer these revision sessions once again this year and we look forward to hosting matriculants on our campus. We hope to inspire these learners to embrace further study after completing their schooling. It is crucial to engage with and assist learners as much as possible, to ensure they receive the guidance they need and feel comfortable as their exams approach. This will be our 7th revision week, following on many successful sessions over the past years. We urge learners to sign up and participate during these sessions to make certain they achieve their best possible Matric results”, says Prof Louw, President of Monash South Africa.
Subjects that will be covered during this period include Mathematics (Paper 1) or Mathematics Literacy (Paper 1), Mathematics (Paper 2) or Mathematics Literacy (Paper 2), Afrikaans (First Additional Language), Accounting, Geography, Life Science, Business Studies, Physical Science and English (Home Language).
