If I don’t bring a face mask to work, will my employer give me one?

Answer:

Yes, employers are obligated by law to provide employees with a minimum of two cloth masks - free of charge - that comply with the requirements set out in the guidelines issued by the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition.

The employee must wear the mask while at work as well as while commuting to and from work.

Additionally, employers must make sure that workers are informed, instructed and trained on how to wear masks correctly.
