The University of South Africa (Unisa) has reminded returning and prospective students that the deadline to register for the second semester will close on 18 July 2022. This leaves those who want to register with a small window of opportunity.
Unisa said, “Applicants may only register if they have received an offer of placement from Unisa and have accepted the offer online. Unisa reserves the right to not process and to cancel your registration if it is found that you were incorrectly admitted to a qualification.”
This applies to both new applications and returning Unisa students who applied for admission to a new qualification. Re-registering students must register for the 2022 academic year during the relevant registration period.
Unisa explained that all registered students will be provided with a free myLife email address. They added that it is the responsibility of the student to activate their myLife e-mail account as soon as their registration is finalised. This email will be used as the primary email address on record at the university.
Once students have registered, they will be required to pay a minimum fee. The final date for initial minimum payment of fees is 31 July 2022. This minimum fee payment allows for the students registration to be finalised.
The final date for payment of all outstanding study fees is 31 August 2022.
