The Western Cape Education Department (WCED) has published a revised set of requirements for adult learners. Here are some things you should know:
According to the WCED website adults wishing to complete the Senior Certificate must now study subjects listed by the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS). The list of selected subjects is provided on the website and can be accessed by following the link below.
Learners must also be 21 years or older and be in a possession of a grade 9 or equivalent qualification in order to qualify for the matric programme.
