The University of South Africa (Unisa) has announced a new closing date for bursary applications for post-graduate studies.
The closing date for Honours, Masters and Doctoral bursary applications has been extended by Unisa to 11 February 2022.
Students applying for the first semester of 2022 will have to submit their applications before the 11 February deadline. The initial deadline was scheduled for 31 January 2021 but the university has extended the application period.
Unisa have also appealed to students who are funded by the (National Student Financial Aid Scheme) Nsfas to ensure they are temporarily registered no later than the 11 February deadline. This will allow the university to activate their registration when they receive funding for Nsfas.
The University said, ‘Students are kindly reminded to make payment into the university account using the correct details as provided by the university. This will result in the payment being allocated timeously on the side of the university and the timely finalision of registration’.
