Registration fees

Registration fees must be paid to secure your seat for a module or paper. These fees must be paid before the closing date. Course fees

It is important to assess the full cost of your studies before confirming your modules for registration. What you can afford will affect the number of modules for which you can register. Prescribed books

Some modules have prescribed books which must be purchased. This includes additional study material for specific courses. Unlike general reading material, prescribed books are compulsory and could affect the academic success of the student.

Miscellaneous fees

Apart from the general fees, there are various miscellaneous fees that students will encounter in the course of their studies, such as supplementary exams, remarks, exemption certificates and library cards. All miscellaneous fees are payable to Unisa and may be included in the overall student fees.
